New Years Eve

I cannot believe that today is Christmas Eve, and tomorrow is the first day of 2009!!!
We are going to the Lolos's this afternoon to make tamales, then some of us girls will spend the night with the Halls. It will be great fun!
More later.

Ah, quiet

Today I have the whole house all to myself. Yesterday Mom, Aki, Samuel, Sukey and Tiana took off to spend a couple days in Bellevue with my Grandma and Aunts and cousins. And Today Dad and Thomas went to a birthday party/football game, and Becky went to have her Viola lesson. So I have the house to myself.
I got a big book of Charlotte and Emily Bronte novels for Christmas. I finished Jane Eyre yesterday, and just started Wuthering Heights. I don't know why I never read them before, because I really enjoy them.
Today is very sunny and melty. I wouldn't be surprised if the snow on the roof came crashing down in a frightfully thunderous way.
I'll write more later if I come up with something significant to say...

a rare occasion

Here is one of the rare occasions when I actually manage to make Sukey pose for a picture. I think it turned out quite well.
I think I told her to do something silly for this picture...
My beautiful sister. I think she was getting bored at this point.

Presents and Such

Becky got a pretty wood jewelry box with a picture of a violin.
She also got a nice and squishy memory foam pillow. It was a good deal.
Thomas got a orange hoodie with a helicopter on it. Orange is his favorite color, and I think he likes helicopters.
Sukey opening....something....
Samuel got a bright red towel.

My Blog

Hello Friends,

This is my blog. I will try to post on a regular basis, but if I don't get around to it, please don't be offended. Rather than try and keep a ridiculous journal or diary that I will be ashamed to read in a year, I will blog. I will keep a matter of fact, general life, daily happenings sort of blog. Enjoy!
